I am an NYC based theatre artist and filmmaker focused on the intersection of mediums and exploring how live performance + visual media may coexist and converse with one another. My work is often rooted in dance based physicality, a visually imaginative aesthetic, and use of both atmospheric and cinematic projections and video content. I am passionate about working on stories centered around complicated women, and have lately been drawn to themes of moral ambiguity, the impact of technology on our daily lives, and lots of existential dread!
I am a proud graduate of The University of Iowa, where I focused on fostering new plays by Iowa Playwrights Workshop members as a director, video designer, + acting collaborator, and took a special liking to Lecoq + Grotowski methods.
A jill of all trades or a gal with a really short attention span, I am also a classically trained dancer, a New York Times published photographer, an EMC actor, and was a semi-finalist for the 2018 Sundance New Voices Lab,
When I’m not making stuff I enjoy collecting David Bowie records, rewatching Twin Peaks, and running in Prospect Park.
I am a dog person and believe ranch dressing belongs on pizza.
PS. Art won’t survive under capitalism. Xo.
